Hole in one Jerky
Beef Jerky Review of Hole in one jerky

Hole-in-One sent us a few different flavors. The Peppered Steak is very well peppered, tender, and spicy. You can actually see the pepper flakes on the jerky, but the pepper taste surprisingly is not overpowering. The Teriyaki is a little tougher than the peppered, but it similarly executes the flavor well — very good teriyaki. The Flamecatcher and the Habanero are very spicy, but the spice works very well into flavor. In other words, they did not just pour hot sauce on it so it would be spicier. The spice completes the taste. When it came time to taste the Ghost Chili, anxiety plagued all the reviewers. What surprised us then was that it is actually not that spicy at first, though you can taste the peppers. But then the spice kicks in, and your mouth starts to burn more and more. In general, though, this flavor is enjoyable. The extreme spice does not overwhelm the taste or texture. They execute a tricky flavor very well. Overall, this is a company that produces traditional jerky flavors as well as some unique ones, but makes sure to make all of it taste phenomenal.
