Country Archer Sriracha Beef Jerky

Now here we have for review the Country Archer Sriracha Beef Jerky. From time to time you will see other companies come out with a sriracha beef jerky. This is the only I know of that uses the official Huy Fong Sriracha Sauce. Now, anybody who talks about Sriracha, you follow the different little comments that people make about sriracha sauce, if it’s not the Huy Fong, they don’t consider it the original. Huy Fong, made up in Irwindale, California is the original sriracha sauce. For the sriracha purists out there, this jerky actually uses and they must have made a deal with Huy Fong, because it’s actually listed on the label as Huy Fong Sriracha Sauce. I’m going to go ahead and give the Country Archer Sriracha a try here.

Now having tried a few pieces the Country Archer Sriracha, I can tell you that it really does taste like the authentic Huy Fong Sriracha Sauce and no wonder because that’s what they’re using. So, if you’re a person out there that actually has tried the actual Huy Fong Sriracha, this is the exact flavor because they are using the authentic Huy Fong Sriracha.

Now, I want to point out that, Country Archer doesn’t add MSG, no nitrates or anything like that, however, in the ingredients they do have potassium sorbate and sodium bisulfate. Now, the reason those ingredients are in there, is because those are the ingredients that are in the authentic Huy Fong Sriracha sauce. So, Country Archer didn’t add these to the jerky, but those ingredients were already in the Huy Fong Sriracha Sauce. So, that’s where it came from. I just wanted to point that out. That’s why, for me, I think Country Archer makes a great jerky, but I’m going to go with a six to a seven on the scale, right around there. No higher, just because the sriracha sauce has certain ingredients that I don’t really like to eat or consume a lot of. Okay?

But anyway, if you do want the authentic sriracha jerky, I believe Country Archer’s the only one that has the agreement with Huy Fong for that. So, let’s go ahead and thank you for watching and enjoying another episode or review from The Jerky Wrangler.
