The company’s founder, Blake, is a former IT professional who decided to leave the corporate life to begin a totally different journey. After doing as much research as possible (and would you expect anything less from a former IT pro) on jerky quality, food safety, and small business operations, he decided to take the leap and start BC Jerky.

He began by selling his craft jerky flavors in farmer’s markets, and gradually built a cult following, leading to the opening of his online retail shop.

His wide palette of flavors offers something for everyone, from spice lovers who will enjoy the “Chilli” flavor, to those who prefer the sweeter taste of his “Teriyaki” jerky.
